TPMS Saves Again

Finallly got my TPMS system and installed it. I have towed two Montanas over the last six years with one issue that we caught right away thanks to DW. We were traveling down Hwy 69 in Oklahoma. Noticed all of a sudden pressure dropped from 94 psi to 83. Watched and it went to 76. Got off at a travel plaza and looked at the tire. About a 10 inch slit on the sidewalk. I figure my new toy just paid for itself. The road hazard insurance will cover 100%. Also, tow policy took care of changing tire. New tire mounted and ready to install. What are the odds this would occur on the first trip?

All I have to say is it sure saved you some dammage fees along with that.
I want to get the sensors that are mounted in side the tires on the valve stim.

Wow,
Good catch you guys! Torn up underbelly, fender flares crumpled, possible accident avoided. Yeah, I'll say it paid for itself.

Glad it worked. That is the best reason for having one. Thanks for posting.

Hi Ron

Same thing happened to us last year on our way home from Florida. Ordered the pressure pro 2 weeks before heading home and as we hit Atlanta we heard this loud noise noise coming from the monitor. Picked up a 3" piece of steel.

We got a heads up from ours soon after I installed it. Glad it worked as advertised.

I know these things cost money on initial purchase but they really do pay for themselves in many ways. I had hesitated for two years before I purchased our Pressure Pro System in '09, but am so glad I did. It not only saves one from possible rig damage, but it certainly gives one a lot of peace of mind. The system is really a necessity for you if you're on the road a lot.

We were on the road for work and couldn't afford to tear up the rig. Terrie's brother bought one the next day. It was one of my better purchases.
