2019 Montana High Country Bathroom ?

We REALLY like the amount of space and cabinets in the bathroom of our new MHC 331RL. I am curious where other owners hang their bath towels and hand towels. The storage closets are great for fresh towels, but don't want to put my back in there after taking a shower and using it to dry off.

In our previous Keystone Cougar, we found some plastic hooks at Wally World, Camping World or Target that fit over the top of the shower surround frame and left a hook on the outside to hang the towel on so it would dry.

The shower door in our new coach is comprised of three sliding sections for the door making the frame/door track wider than the hooks we used before.

Looking for suggestions as to what some of the rest of you are using.

Do not suggest using the clothes dryer in the rig every time I use a bath towel. I tried that. We opted not to get the W/D for our unit and have the closet instead.

Thank you,

John

We are going to put some Command hooks up in the bathroom for wet towels.

We use over the door hooks on the pivot door. Works well for us.

My wife mentioned that. Told her I would look the next time I was in our camper which will be tomorrow. It is currently being used by us in a campground 1 and 1/2 hours from our home. Thank you!

We use over the door hangers as well, one on the pivot door and one on the bedroom door. I don't like hanging towels on hooks as they are not exposed to enough air to dry them that way.

John, command hooks are in the hardware section at any Walmart..

P.s. do not stick them to the fake woodgrain, as it will peel it when removed. Glass, plastic, metal is ok.. suggest placing on the shower glass, preferrably inside as it hides them and lets them drip in the shower if they do...

Just as Kidd said, careful where you use them. I will also say the paper on the wallboard is not a great location either. Been there. I bought some nice racks from Lowes and used 1/8" wall anchors. I am home now but will be at the RV tomorrow and will take a few pics for you.

I bought stick on square metal hooks and attached them to the door. Ours has a pivot door and they are out of the way. I figured if they come off the door it would be easier to cover then a wall. Been a year and so far so good.

Our '19 310RE came with hooks already mounted on the wall to the left of the toilet. So did the '19 305RL we looked at before purchasing the 310RE.

Bought towel hooks and used 1/4” short molly bolts to mount them behind the stool. I would be reluctant to hang them on the pivot door.

I hang the towels over the shower door.

When taking a shower I close the toilet lid and lay them on the toilet.

towel hooks

found a pair of adj towel hooks that fit over the top of the shower. Works great and can be reversed to hang the towels inside the shower when done. Think we bought them a CW.

Now if we just had a shower door again we would be using them. Our door exploded into a thousand little pics this week.

Looks very nice. You did a good installation job. Thanks for the pictures. Perhaps others will benefit, too.

Just went and read your post regarding your shower door. So sorry to read about that bad experience. Hope you are able to get repaired relatively easy and that it is covered under your warranty.
