Need Outer Banks NC recommendations.

Hi all,

We will be embarking on our first real 5er vacation about the beginning of October. We will have as our destination the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Moe precisely the southern part from Rodanthe south to Ocracoke. We are new to this and want a place that has easy access as the thought of maneuvering our 34' Montana into a tight space is scary. We hope to stop at Cherrystone on the way down from Vermont. Any other suggestions? Are the National parks at Oregon Inlet, Hatteras and Buxton good? I know they have no hookups but if it isn't too hot we might dry camp. Anyone stayed at Frisco Woods? Cape Woods?
