Freeze Protection

Using my 5th wheel front living camper in cold weather and want to know what steps to take to prevent water line that supplies full size residential refrigerator from freezing. Line is exposed under slide out and I have been lucky it has not frozen yet. I found a valve underneath the stove and isolated it but I’m not sure it isolated the exposed line under the slide out.

You might be better off draining that line until you get to to warmer weather.

How do I drain it? I’m not sure the valve I isolated inside the camper is the correct valve. I think the exposed line under the trailer feeds the valve I isolated but I’m not sure? Owners manual is no help

I crawled under the slide and found the line that goes to the ice maker and disconnected it so it would drain. I then ran antifreeze through the main feed and turned the valve under the stove off and the one under the sink off. Haven’t worried about it in two winters now as I don’t use the ice maker.

Thanks for the advice, especially the valve located under the sink! That’s the piece of the puzzle I was missing. I have drained the line and will be adding antifreeze. Thanks again!
