New Montana from VA

We purchased our Montana from the same dealer and they are great to work with. Some unusual items we encountered that are not on most check list.
- Mattress quilt stitching was "unquilting"
- Theater seats and couch were not secured to the floor. (if that happens make sure they are centered when re-attaching)
- electric water heater was not connected
- sound system (sound bar was not connected)
- cook top/oven was more than 1/2" out of level.
- cook top one burner will not light if one of the other two are on.
- nose cap LED's were coming off
- check all interior doors for proper closure. We still have problems with our pantry door not latching
- leveling system hydraulic line fittings loose (not fully tightened) We didn't catch this until the drips showed.
- look over all caulking; we had a lot of gaps

Good Luck! We love our 3160RL

I would live in in for a week near the dealer at a campground. And take it right back for any issues right away. Make sure to call keystone customer service to log and report all issues!! Follow up with the service dept and keystone throughout the processes. Dont wait on service and a set short deadlines to have things fixed. You have only one year to identify the problems. The more you use the coach and travel, the better!!

We were at our dealer (Lazy Days Denver) for over 8 hours (more like 9 including a lunch break) doing our PDI and getting little things fixed. They also installed the Furrion observation camera we brought with us. There was also hitch adjusting and learning how to get hitched. Then we had to move some of the stuff we brought with us from the truck to the trailer. We also installed snap pads and the TPMS before we left the dealer. Plan on taking a full day. Start as early as you can in the morning so you will have plenty of time.

Hello all - I so very much appreciate your responses. With considering the distance, the holidays and availability of our doggy nanny....we are finally going to drive to Virginia and pick up our new fifth wheel on Dec 16th!!! We are so excited. Has anyone picked up their RV at the RV Outlet Center in Ringgold and stayed within an hour south of there? Or 2 hours?

We live 45 minutes south so never camped in our immediate area. However, the Greensboro, NC KOA is supposed to have decent ratings.

We are now back in Orlando with our new 3121RL!!!! The PDI went well - we found a few minor things that were taken care of immediately. We are extremely happy with our purchase and where we made the purchase. RV Outlet in Ringgold VA is a great place with great pricing if you are interested in purchasing any type of RV. Our salesman, Matthew Cannaday was excellent to work with and I highly recommend him. I will definitely be using the MOC forums to learn more about everything to do with our new rig!! Thanks to all of you for your info and help!
