Questions on my mew to me 375 FLF

New to Mountaineer and have a few questions. Just bought a 2014 375FLF but somethings I can not find out for sure.

1. LED lighting. Does my 14 have it. Looks like just normal filament bulbs but not sure.
2. Front door is extremely stiff to open and close. Screen by itself is OK. Normal?
3. Dump valve openings. Mine has no doors, just the valves mounted to the frame under the bottom curve. Kinda hard to find. On line shows a door for same?Normal or not.
4. Where can I get another remote for the rear/outside TV. Only one came with unit. Need 2.

Probably other questions but thats all for now.

Well the entry door might be normal? Do u have a latch it hold it open? if not you may have r
The new style like what is on my Montana. The door hinge is made to stay open where ever u leave it and its not necessary to latch open like on older RVs. So it will be stiffer by design.
The remote should be easy just go to the website of the TV manufacture and u should get some results or a universal remote. As for led lighting you will be able to tell. If you see filaments then those lights are not led.

LED lights run cool. Does your 2014 not have a convenience center? Pull handles for the upstairs black and gray usually located there.

Most likely you do not have LED lighting. Most of us have a dump valve on the frame for the galley tank and valves in the convenience center (where the water connections are) for the other tanks. Universal remotes are available lots of places such as Best Buy that work with most TV's regardless of make. Congratulations on your new rig, may it bring you many years of wonder ful memories.

as a new owner you'll have lots of questions, if you bought it through a dealer you should get with him to go over some of your questions.

and of course the rallies that are out there are a great place to learn about your trailer.

If you go to keystonerv.com's full site, they archive brochures. According to that, all of your flush mount lights are LED. It also says you have the convenience center, which is where your main grey/black water valves are located, as well as winterizing, water heater bypass, hose connections, etc. It should be located as you open the driver side basement door. Hope this helps. I got that all from the 2014 archived brochure.

I will comment on door. Our 3750 has a very tight front door and screen. The screen has to push a button switch for interior lighting. The front door itself, has a self closing feature which makes it tight on purpose. That same feature will hold the door open. If yours is missing that device it's a dealer item to fix. My experience is doors are difficult to adjust.

OK, lights are surface mount, not flush and as above seem to be normal filament lights. Front door, no hold open so must be the above referenced design. We bought from a dealer but it ws not his line, it was a trade in so he has no knowledge of anything on it to speak of. Waste dump valves, there is no door for same, you must crawl under the unit to find same. Looking to maybe add the convenience door. They are controlled at the rear of the unit not at the convenience center area. Learning about it slowly. Being a long time RV owner most is intuitive but some things are going to require some help. Little things like the grey/black valves being labeled backwards. Just need a label maker to re-label correctly. I have figured out much but still a learning curve.

Thanks for the help/suggestions so far. Greatly appreciated.

surface mounted light fixtures sound like what is termed pancake lights, which are about 4x10 inches with switch in center and clear lens to either side. These are usually 912 or 921 wedge base bulbs in either side. You can add leds to these fixtures. My 13 montana was still equipped with these, so it makes sense that a mountaineer would have them even in todays production....certainly 2014. Montana models are almost always three waster tanks, two grey and one black. Mountaineers...I would expect the same, but since this is a lower level montana...I would not bet on it...but galley tank should have a handle to pull right in front of the front wheel on street side and underneath. In regard to remote. I found a universal remote on Amazon. The Company will program it for you. It's a great product. Search under universal remote. Less that $30.00 I recall, it worked right out of box. You can buy the ones you program at any electronic store for less!

Our '14, 375 FLF does have the led lights, the entry door is stiff, keeps the wind from blowing it around, because of the positioning of the awning a typical hold open latch will not work because the door won't open a full 180 deg. We have a door for the valves. Enjoy your rig, we certainly do.

Might there be different levels of trim, fit and finish on these units? No dump valve door, std light bulbs, not led but 2 AC units, fireplace, 4 door fridge, guess thats where I'm having a hard time figuring out what I have and what I should have.....

Fit and finish data would be unlikely to exist. However here is a link to Keystone Archive. It will or should have photos and lists of available options and features. Find the appropriate brochure and review options. Be aware as others have explained, Mountanieer and Montana are different models. See what you can find at this link,

Have looked at the brochure even it leaves some questions. I have many extras, fireplace, second air, Power awning, etc. Seem to be lacking the LED light and few other things. Tonight I found out the laundry closet could have been a few inches wider, very tight fit for the Midea washer I installed. Had to modify a few things to get the fit including major adjustments to the closet door. Works now just took a few extra hours to fix where if the had made the closet 2 inches wider and 2 inches deeper all would have been well. Not complaining, just discussion thoughts.

That's what it's about. Make the unit fit your needs. Sounds like your getting things under control! Enjoy....

Remember. if wife is happy everyone's happy. Traded an 03 Cedar Creek 33' 2 slides for this 373FLF. Quite a change but didn't come with a washer. Now have one and she's happy. Found a few quirks, Cupboards and a bit shallower than the Creek but more of them. Kind of a wash. And for those of you thinking of changing units be aware, of how much stuff you can accumulate and no matter how much bigger your new unit is there isn't enough room to move the smaller unit into the larger unit. Don't ask me how I know, just believe it as truth. Other than the work involved it the switch, I'm really liking the new unit. Although it was used, a 2014, it is like new, nothing broken and all is working OK. Quite a learning curve in all the new technology though, Think I have most figured out other than the slide controls. Still working on thiose. Have an owners manual coming and hopefully that will answer my questions and if not will post here for some answers.
Thanks all for the encouragement so far.

The manual won't help much as it is a generic document. "Figuring out slide controls" - what are you trying to figure out? John

OK. here goes my question's. Inside the trailer in the closet there are 3 controls for the slides. My understanding is that 2 buttons control the top/front slides.
they are electrically controlled? The third rocker switch controls the other 3 slides and they are hydraulic. If that is correct that was the easy question. Now outside in the control pad there are 3 dials (don't remember the settings now). They are supposed to control each individual slide so that you can open just one slide if necessary. Can someone explain the settings and which switch and dial and what they do.

A little background on the unit to explain my delimia. Unit was delivered new years eve at 8 pm. Dealer forgot p[ower cord (borrowed one from a stored unit in the park) but driver basically delivered unit helped briefly level and drove off. No slide extension or any other help. being a lo0ng time RVer thought it would be a snap but had some difficulty getting rear slides and dinning room to extend. Turned dials where I thought they were off and slides extended. Maybe some simple direction of dial adjustment and which rocker switches and what they should do.

Hope my questions make sense in some way........

Don, you are correct the 3rd switch controlls the three hydraulic slides. The three dials outside are used to shut off each of the three hydraulic slides. I can not tell you which is which, but just turn one off and see which slide does not move, then lable it. continue isolating the other two untill you have them all labled.
