How to connect inverter

I just bought a Black & Decker 750w inverter. It came with 2 short wires with alligator clips. Do you connect them to the 12v side of the convertor panel or connect them directly to the battery? If you connect them directly to battery - how do you plug in the tv?

jmg, Connect them directly to the batteries. At 750 W, the inverter will use as much at 60 A. That will require about a 4 gauge cable. Check here or in your manual for specific recommendations.

From the inverter, you can use a 14 gauge extension cord to your ac appliances.

JMG Don't know which RV you have...many have done various things so your gonna get a lot of idea's.

This is mine...inverter is isolated to supply ONLY the outlet in my entertainment center.

Yes...that's right...what's most important to me...entertainment!!!

Battery #1 -> Cannot be switched to the inverter so its supports coach appliances

Batteries #2 & #3 -> can be selected to coach or inverter

A/B Switch positions;
#1 allow recharging batteries #2 & #3
#2 allow suppling DC to inverter

IOTA Switch "senses" shore power
N/C state allows inverter to support outlet
N/O state when shore power is present supports outlet
