Car crazy

How many of you are car crazy? What brands & years.
I'm a Ford & Mercury fanatic. I have cars & trucks from 1928 Model A to 1979 trucks.

We have 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 with a 460, & a 1998 Camaro IROC 350. We have fun with them both when we have time, and the grandkids don't have them out.

My dad has been trying to give me his 1968 Chevy SS 427 Impala Convertable. I was 10 years old when he brought it home new and today it has only 45,000 miles on it. I'd take it off his hands but I don't have an indoor place to store it where he does in their garage.

ummmmm, I guess I'll have to be the first to say I have garage space for it and will gladly take one for the team and volunteer to take it...

I'm like Swanny, mine have all had to go over the years for paying for school, etc. and priorities change... oh how I wish I still had a couple of these:

1967 Camaro
1968 Camaro SS/RS convertible
1969 Chevelle
1969 Chevrolet pickup
1977 Camaro
1979 Camaro
1987 Corvette
1996 Corvette

Still have
1972 Ford pickup (and now skipped a few model years to new 2012)
1988 Celebrity
2000 Expedition

A 1961 Pontiac Bonneville tri power 348 horse 389 CI bubble top was the nicest car for its day I ever owned, then a 67 GTO 455 CI. The most powerful and fastest is my 2008 F250 Ford. If I were to load my 310 HP tune, by all accounts it would run under a 13 second 1/4 mile. I use the 210 HP tune. 350 HP + 210 + 21 or 10% to 15% for drive train loss = 580 + fly wheel HP.

When it comes to old cars, what I've owned and what I want are two totally differant things.

What I have owned = "zero"

What I want
1969 Mercury Cyclone GT (with the 429 cobra jet engine, it is what my dad had and mom said to get rid of it when she got pregnant with me, said it wasn't a family car) This is what my dad had told me before he past away.

My favorite that I owned was a 1964 1/2 Mustang with a 200ci straight six and a 3 speed stick. Fire engine red with black interior with 13 inch wheels and baby moon hubcaps. I used to buy my tires for it at Sears for $25.00 each balanced and installed.
Also had:
1962 Ford Galaxy 500XL Convertible with a 390 ci 4bbl. Black with red leather interior with bucket seats
1973 Plymouth Duster 340 ci 4bbl metalflake forest green with black racing stripes
