New F350 King Ranch
Dealer called and said my new F350 is in. I'm scheduled to pick it up tomorrow at 3:00. I'm sorry to see my 01 go as we've had a good relationship, I hope the 06 gives me as good service. Truck is a Long Bed, Crew Cab, 4X4, King Ranch, White with Arizona Beige bottom. I was able to get the employee discount on the 06!

Congrats Steve and Betty. We really love our KR. The new suspension really works nice and turns a lot better than the pre'05 models. Post some pics when you have time. Tell Betty her gift is you not being inside bothering her. You'll be too busy outside looking at the new truck all the time.

Love my '05' king ranch and have no reservations on getting it. I had a tough time trying to figure out on a 250 or 350. I went with the 250 as it is a daily driver in addition to towing.

Congratulations, Steve, on buying an outstanding truck! Now you will find out why all the magazines say nothing outperforms the 6.0 PSD, towing, solo, uphill, downhill, whatever.
Hey, Scrowba, don't forget us! I'm the poorer little brother -- no King Ranch, but "just" the Lariat! Same color combination.

Thanks to all for the well wishes. The truck is very impressive in solo mode and I can tell already it runs awesome and has equal if not more power than my 7.3 that was chipped and doing so in a lot smoother and refined way.
I took my hitch out of the 01 and need to install it when I get back from Colorado and then I can give it the real test! NO...I'm not driving my truck to Colorado....I'll be driving out with a friend that has a GMC 3500....you all can guess what a lot of the conversation (arguments) will be about. Oh well - somehow I will survive.
Honestly, his GMC is quite nice too. Different strokes for different folks!

The King Ranch has the nicest interior I have ever seen in a truck including any custom interiors that I have seen.

And that KR leather will wear like iron. I wash mine about once a month with just warm water and a clean towel. After it dries I apply a light coat of leather conditioner and it still looks brand new.

I will admit, I am not a Ford fan but I do like the King Ranch leather and 4 bucket seats I saw on the truck yesterday at the lot. You wont catch me buying a Ford but went with a friend since this was his first diesel and he is only a Ford guy. I tried, but no luck to get him into a Duramax. That leather sure was nice, looks like it will hold up for many years to come.

I bet once GM figures out that people will pay for the premium leather they will eventually find a brand of there own going that is similar to the KR. Doesn't seem like too long after one of the big three does something to catch the publics attention, that the other two are hurrying to get to the market and get a piece of the prize before the fad moves on to something else.

Ron,
I can only hope that others find some leather as nice as your KingRanch has. It has had me talking about it for a few days now and boy all I can say is I like it.

Steve, did you get the Tow boss option as well. We will be going the same route as soon as the house sells. Good Luck and Congradulations

The king ranch is a pretty truck..The only O5 350 they had on the lot when I ordered my Lariat was a KR that someone had ordered. The KR was over budget for us.The Lariat was the best we could do..we still have to buy Montana and every $ counts. To compensate we got a loaded lariat..not quite a KR but close.

The Lariat is no slouch. I really like the interior of our Lariat but once I saw the King Ranch I knew that's what I'd really have liked to have. But we'd already made our purchase, too. The King Ranch has been around for a few years, hasn't it? I didn't use to see that many on the road but sure have seen a lot of them this year. I remember seeing a TV thing on the President at his ranch and noticed he drives an F350 King Ranch. That was a year or two ago.
