HELP!!!Tow Truck Dropped my 3400
Had a blown head gasket on my 2500 GM short bed truck with pull rite hitch so Good Sam arranged to have my 2008, 3400 towed to a storage yard. The tow driver brought the wrong equip and 300 yards, still in the campground, went over a speed bump slowly, the hitch broke, trailer reared up like a horse and all 15,000 lbs came down on the nose. Still don't know all the damage but how can I be sure the frame is not craked, torqued, twisted etc plus pipes and all in good shape. How can I be sure 6 months or more down the unit will not have any problems?
Any one with good Sam Insurance had large claims, new unit replacement etc. Sure could use some info and past experiences on how to handle this with Good Sam, Thanks Kevin

I was a towman for 35 + years. Towman is responsible. Call your insurance co. Explain your delimma and ask them to be your advocate. They should pursue Towman and his Ins. co. for you. They should even provide legal ser.as necessary. Good luck. There is a fifth wheel attachment made for tow truck use. Motor clubs are prone to shop for price and not professionalism. Good Sam is also liable because they contracted with tow company and represented them as qualified. If you are not satisfied with results, do not hesitate to get your own lawyer. Feel free to PM me if you think I might be of help.

I see a long road ahead of you on this one. Larry gave you some good advice. I would advise that you document everything with specifics (names, dates, times, etc) and take pictures from all angles. You can likely expect a lot of finger pointing on this one.
Best of luck to you. Sorry to hear that this happened.
