VA Region Rally, sure thing
I just got through reading the post on the 2008 NE Rally and sure hope I haven't started some kind of division. I surly didn't intend
to.
It looks like we have 7 units who are INTERESTED. Being as it is over
a year away much can change. If people are still interested by Spring
I will contact the campground and reserve it. If not, we'll let a "dead dog lie". No hard feelings on my part.

Salle and Samuel: Go for it! With 7 rigs you have the making of a rally with a year to attract others. Too early for us to commit though.

Don't worry about others, we are definitely in agreement with you on the VA rally, and can only say to others, "Jump in the water will be fine". Heck, we may even go so far as to let the daughters miss a day of school so we can shoe up on Thursday evening. The more the merrier and I feel that with 6-7 rigs commited, you have laid the groundwork for a great time for any others who happen to stop by. Blessings to you and yours in return for your interest and commitment.

This rally is our our list for next year. With two daughter's in the area, one Charlottesville and the other Roanoke, we will plan our visits to them at around the same time.
Remember, anything I can do to help, let me know.

Thanks for the kind words. I didn't want to start something. Hopefully we can make it a
Thurs - Sun. I know a lot can happen between now and then. Come Spring, I would hope some
one would step up and wagonmaster this with us. At that time we can also set up the different committies. Hopefuly by the time we meet at the NE Rally, we can have this pretty well worked out.

Salle & Samuel, If you'll remember when you first suggested a Virginia rally I was than and still am 100% in favor of it. Depending on the dates and our travels Lorraine and I will do our best to attend the VA rally. As I had pointed out in another thread we were at the very 1st and only VA rally. We both loved the Staunton area and Walnut Hills is a great RV park. It is a bit early for me to give a definite yes or no put you can put us down as a VERY GOOD possibility.

Thanks Glenn,
I already have. I know it's too early for a commitment. But it's sure nice to know you
have some maybe's.
