One ply or two ply it's all the same. With 1 ply you get a 1000 sheets on a roll with 2 ply you get 500. Either way a roll of TP whether 1 or 2 ply lasts the same amount of wipes.
Yes, but you have to pull twice as much from the roll for the same "effect."

This is great news. I'd sort of known that other TP would do, but was still using RVTP. I checked our quilted northern in the B&M house (is that appropriate, or what?), and it is, of course, septic safe.

We lived on a boat for many years and boat holding tanks are even touchier than RV's. We occasioonally had problems with 2+ ply...tend to clog. We've never had a problem with 1 ply....any brand.

At present, we use Scott's 1000. Front of the package says "Septic Safe", and, on the back, says "Safe for Septic and RV".

That is the part we key onto when shopping for "on sale" stuff.

Best,

Always used Scot Tissue and never had any problem in over 10 years.

Hmmmm...great web site, Always learning!
So for the Scotts users, is that 1 ply or 2 ply?

Just checked the brands we use, Angel Soft and Cottonelle. Both have the sticker that says they are septic safe.
