Toilet mount broke
Grrr. Owning our montana has been like the Chinese torture of "Death by 1000 cuts"! DW thought that she had broken the toilet when she leaned against it when cleaning the floor. With some info from Steve who is our next door neighbor while waiting for their truck, I tackled the repair job. When I got the toilet off, discovered that the mounting flange was destroyed. Seems like the boys were in a real hurry to get ours 5W out the door and collect their paycheck. They only used five screws to hold the flange in place instead of the necessary eight screws.
Couldn't find the correct flange in Elkhart and decided to go to Keystone's new customer service department. Amazingly, they did have a replacment of the correct size. Now the toilet is snug to the floor and doesn't move like it always did. Think that piece-rate pay is the absolute death of quality control. If you have tightened the nuts on the toilet and it still moves, you may be short a few screws in the mount flange.
