Screen Names
Just curious, but how did everyone come up with their screen name? We've got some pretty good ones on the forum.
I'll start. We chose Icehouse because we live in Alaska fulltime, thus our name is Icehouse. But the truth is, we are ice free about 4 or 5 months out of the year.

I was raised in an aerie in Mexico by a bunch of eagles. Since I'm a guy, as I grew up the younger eagles called me Senor Eagle, or Sr. Eagle. When I joined MOC I mistyped my name and it came out sr eigle, shortened to sreigle.

I put a great deal of thought into selecting my screen name
Actually, my maiden name is May and I was so accustomed to people saying Vicki May or she May not, that when I picked my screen name, I naturally thought ... Vicki R or she R not.

So R you or not??? Ha Ha! Couldn't resist!!!
BTW, I like how Steve has put the pronunciation of your name like Regal. You should hear folks butcher Jarriel. I've been trying to come up with a way to do the it sounds like. The best I can do is Jarr sounds like Chair. The i is silent. And el like the end of Regal. So it's Jarriel pronounced like Chairal. Does that make any sense??

When I was born the nurse that took me into my mom presented her with "Captain Kidd". As a result for most of my younger life, until high school, I was called cappy. In high school you were looking for a fat lip if you called me that.
As an adult I was in Butte County Sheriffs Search and Rescue and was the Captain of the unit for a while so my CB handle became "Capt. Kidd" and it just stuck.
Of course you do know the difference between Sir Walter Raleigh and Captain Kidd. Both were privitiers (sp) for the Queen but Raleigh was knighted and Kidd was hung.

I guess mine would be self explanatory, first name followed by first letter of last name.
It took nearly 10 seconds to come up with something so unique .

I signed on like we usually do but for some reason they told me that the name was already in use.. I really can't believe that as it was our given names but in order to get on I use half of my maiden name and al of Bill's name hence Adelson/Moll= Adelmoll...
Steve and Vicki.... We are hurting from laughing so hard

Not to hard to figure out, it seemed natural at the time. Retired firefighter, got our first 5th wheel before I retired, got on MOC, needed a nickname= Rvfirefighter. Not much imagination on that one, but it works.

Way back when the Government was starting to use E mail our Agency assigned E mail addresses. I was Rich (Richard shortened) in the FAA(federal aviation agency) @faa.Gov Don't know why the 1. Since I am feeble minded I just kept the richfaa1 so I would not forget it. When I did the MOC I figured richfaa was enough....my screen name is always one or the other.

Well, my choosing a screen name was kind of difficult. I had to take out my wallet and look at my driver's license. It said my first name was/is Wayne, and then I looked at the last name and decided to just use the first letter of my last name. Hence Waynem. Then I put my license back in for the next time I have to verify who I am.
I are who I are!

Well when signing up for the forum and having to think up a name quick...Bob had given me the nickname Imp (he says I am impulsive, but the truth is, he is the one...) So Imp was the first thing I thought of. If you look at his handle..trebor. It is robert backwards. Maybe I should change mine to Anrym. No I think I will keep Imp.
