water leak

Have a wet floor at the back of our 3100rl on the floor behind the chair on the left side at the wall.Took the lamp mounted on the wall off water is leaking in the wall to floor, calking looks good on the roof around the cap and drip rails, would it come from the ac mounting holes. This is parked at home lots of rain,is it a big job to take the ac off and reseal it ? John R.

The a/c is held in place by 4 bolts one in each corner. The gasket or seal is under the a/c . Those 4 bolts can become loose thereby causing the seal to not be tight. Those bolts don't have to be super tight but should be good and snug. Usually when this problem occurs you will have drops of water dripping inside.

I have read on here about people that had issues and found the A/C was installed an inch or so off center and leaked. Had to move it back to the right position. Could be?

I think the hole where the a/c is located is a 14 " square. If you take the bottom of the a/c off you will see the bolts in question and may be able to see if the a/c is fitted correctly. Am assuming the A/c has worked well in the past . If those bolts are too loose that will definitely cause a leak.

make sure to torque the AC when going back - doesn't take much - some where in inch pounds I believe

Yes if it’s a ducted unit then you’re going on the roof to remove cover.
If the through the ceiling the bolts are inside.
What year and model is your camper?

Thanks for all the replies ,,found the leak coming from the driprail (eavetrough)screws ,behind the moulding ,removed the screws ,applying chalking to each, replaced with#10 screws, apply a bead of chalking all along the rail replace mouldings. Took it to a rv dealer reputation good, and they pressurize the inside run soapy water over it,look for bubbles, found other tiny leak at the a clearance light.
