As a way of dealing with waste tanks while boondocking (at the suggestion of Guru LennyK) I bought a pump and a large tank. Today I realized an extra value. The dump connection at this campground (here because of 100 degree temps) is at the rear of the rig AND slightly elevated. With the macerater and a dedicated garden hose I had no problem dealing with the problem. Just an idea.

I am about to pull the trigger on a macerator pump. Just need to make the 4" screw plug to hose adapter.

We have used a macerater pump for two summers with few problems. One issue to be aware of is the tank empties slowly so you will need to flush with copious amounts of water to get all of the solids out.
