Humidity and mold when full timing
We are full timing (Long timing? ) in our Monty while house hunting. May be in it a while because we are in no hurry.
Does anyone use a dehumidifier, like the Montana owners manual suggests?
I realize they only suggest it for the winter, but we may still be in it come winter.

I got one mainly because we spent time in TX near the coast. Before using it, it I felt like I was sleeping in a swimming pool.
I bought a 30 pint unit one from Ace and it certainly made a big difference inside the TT.

Well, We live near the Fl Coast.
The AC seems to be doing a fine job for now.

We use the Damp Rid granules from CW or WW and it seems to work fine. No mold or mildew in three years. Run air when we have to.....Would rather pay for the elec than suffer.....

We have been full timing over three years now. We always have ceiling vents cracked. We always squeegee the shower after use. We run the bathroom ceiling vent when showering. We always vent kitchen when cooking. Then we use two of the Damp Rid drier pots, one in living area and one in the bedroom. This has worked even in the winter in Washington on the humid Olympic Peninsula.

Thanks for the suggestions. I never thought of damp rid. I was fixating on mechanical units.

The crystals work for us, too. They worked even when we had a leak in our washer/dryer onto the carpeting, along with a ceramic heater with fan, in Rockport, TX along the Gulf.
