furnace

Called dometic and they sent me the new comfort control not free. Mounted everything and made connections but there are two yellow wires coming from the box that mounts in the air unit. They are listed as load shed. There are no more wires to connect to. I will call dometic monday. I get an EE readout on my monitor on the wall. Just thought someone here might know the answer.

Gitrdun you do not have to hook the yellow wires to anything. just tape or wire nut the ends for safety. you do not need those. That is what the inst said when I did mine. They have something to do with zones I think. bobby

I did that but my unit mounted on the wall has an EE displayed on it, and I can not get the mode function to work.

Bobby,

You have to reset your CCC thermostat. To do that press and hold both the Mode and Zone buttons while you swith the CCC thermostat to On. Anytime you make a change to the CCC configuration you will need to follow this step as well.

I hope this helps.

Man you guys are awesome. Dometic people are not the friendliest to talk to especially the one I talked to. I asked for instructions but none were included, just a wiring guide. Thanks guys.

Well now every mode works but the furnace and it does not come up on the display. When I go through the modes it comes to the mode which should be furnace it displays mode off. Hate to be a bother but you guys are the only ones who come through with the answers, and it is greatly appreciated.

Bobby,

You will have to go back up into the AC controller box again. There you will find a DIP switch with 8-switches on it. Position #5 is the one for the Furnace option. I bet you will find that switch position in the off position. Slide it it the On position and again reset your CCC themostat as previously instructed. That should solve your problem.

If you still have problems PM me and I will send you some illustrated instructions.
Good Luck!

Tom

gitrdun,

Sorry for calling you Bobby! Not sure where I got that name. I hope the switch fixes your problem.

Does anyone have the complete installation instructions for the CCC? I have read about some options, (auto starting the generator when needed) but I do not know how to hook this up or what other options my be available.
Thanks,
Bernie

Will a reset of the CCC be required if 12v power is lost? For instance if the battery has to be replaced.
