FF won't stop!

It's been hot here until recently so we keep the FF open most of the summer. When it turned cooler recently and we got a bit of rain the fan cover closed automatically like it should. But when I went into the rig yesterday I heard the motor running on it. It was closed as it should have been but the motor was still running. It would not turn off.

Only way to get it off was to pull fuse. There is also a fuse on the unit itself. That is the one I pulled. So the motor is off now but I need to figure out what is causing it to keep running. Has anyone had this sort of problem and if so what is the fix? Any hints or suggestions will be appreciated.

there is a switch that the cover operates on. It should depress when closed. I had a problem with ours not coming on. I got up on top and took a look. Ended up giving the area a tap when opening. Worked fine this way until I got back up and put some spray lube on the switch shaft.
May not have a thing to do with your problem but something to look at.

Thanks. I'll check that when I get the rig back. It is over to dealer for some work on the structure. Should have it back in a month or so.
