Flagstaff to Sedona

Anybody been on Alt 89 from Flagstaff to Sedona?

Great drive in a car, wouldn't go that way with the rig on behind.

If I remember right there is a sign that says 50' length limit as you start down toward the switchbacks.

That's where I was going. We're 57' from front of truck to back of rig.

i assume you already know that the rise in the elavation going up to flagstaff, if you go back is horrible for transmissions and cooling.

What about getting from Virgin, Utah to Grand Canyon Natl park trailer village. Google maps has me going hwy 59 which becomes 389 at border, and 389 to Alt 89 east till I get to the regular hwy 89 going south. Is this part of Alt 89 OK, or should I head north and go along the regular 89, that goes thru Page, Arizona, and then down to Cameron, and head west on 64 to get to the Trailer village.
