Aluminum wheel weight rating

Anyone needing the stickers, or letter showing the wheels are 110#, here is the info I got from Jennifer at Tredit:

Jim,
If you would be so kind as to email me your address I can send you a letter and stickers for you to affix to the backside of your wheels indicating the re-rated weight and tire pressure.
Thank you and have a great day!
Jennifer

Isn't that amazing. Just putting a sticker on overrides the stamping on the inside of the rim. I had the sticker on the inside of rim with 110 psi on the sticker. Well, at least mine came with the sticker.

If I were a tireman and I was replacing tires and saw the stamp, and the sticker, I think I would be prone to follow the MFG Stamp.

I'm sorry Jim, am I missing something here? Are you saying that the TR6 wheels are rated at 110 lbs? Is that ALL TR6s wheels?

I got in late for this party, I have been occupied with my business for the last couple of years, but from what I read here, and the response from Treadit, I assume so.

I believe I would contact Jennifer at Tredit with the year and model number of the rim and specifically ask if they have been re-certified at 110 psi. That is what I had to do with the new rig before putting the Goodyear G614's on it. I seem to vaguely remember that the 110 psi re-certification began with the alloy rims in the late 2006 and 2007 model years. Better safe than sorry, I will add that high pressure valve stems must be used as well.

Missions as G rated? I'd vote for X rated. Mostly just joking.
