Benson, AZ
We are at the Cochise Terrace RV Resort for a least a week and a promise of warmer weather. This is a PA park and they have a PA weekly rate. Nice park, lots of activities, large sites. A suggestion: Do not go to southern NM in December and January. The word is COLD and windy. We will go back next October when it is warmer.
Happy trails............................

Sue and Ed,
About all you are going to get is the "Promise" of warmer weather! Last year after Q we headed south and east toward NM. It was cold. In Bisbee on the way over there was still a bit of snow on the ground. In Columbus, NM we stayed at the Pancho Villa SP. It is a very nice park. But like you we found the area too cold for winter time usage. We will go back in warmer weather and enjoy that wonderful area.
Stay warm and see you in Q soon.
Dennis and Mary Kay

Parrothead, We were at Cochise Terrace RV resort last Jan at this time. We enjoyed our stay there. However we like the area, I lived in Sierra Vista Az. for 6 years while I was stationed at Ft. Huachuca, we then moved on to Casa Grande Az. We were on our way to Cal. however Delaine's Mom had some issues and we had to leave there on 19 Jan. and return to Tn. We have since quit full timing and sold the Cambridge.
Yes it was cold there in the middle of Jan. our out side water hoses froze while in Casa Grande. Hope the weather is better there this year. GBY....

Was posted in Nogales for 2 years and did a lot of work between Douglas and Nogales. It can get damn cold there in the winter!

Sue, I think Vicki just emailed you about getting together. We're on the opposite side of Benson from you. I hate to tell you but it's been a bit cool here, too. Nice days, cool nights. Lately it's more normal, low 30's at night and upper 20's. But we had several nights in the low 20's and one down to 19.

We stayed at Cochise Trails July/August 2007 and had a wonderful time. The RV park is beautiful, the weather was great and there are losts of places to visit. Try it again in the summer, you'll love it!
