Does the waiver have to be flied every year, or only once? Bill

Yep! Just once. At least they've never asked us for a renewal and we filed our wavier about 4 years ago.

It is for the feds. If you roam around the country, you are eligible for the East, and or the West coast feed for the networks. The local network coverage on Direct TV is only good for around 250 miles from home base, where you signed the contract. A bunch of mumbo jumbo I am not entirely up on, but a waiver allows you to get that option of feeds. (I get both the East and Left coast feeds.....Cool Beans.)
