Front landing gears 2008 Montana
I have a 2008 Montana and the front landing gear (relay switches) are popping but can not tell which one is for the front landing gear. I have looked all through the paperwork that came with the 5th wheel when I bought it last year and cannot find anything pertaining to those relay switches in the front compartment near the hydraulic oil container. NEED DIAGRAM FOR THIS PLEASE

You should be able to find details on the lippert website, www.lci1.com, and look for the technical sheets on the system. These are known as lipsheets, but listed under technical sheets on site. John

Thank you so much I appreciate all the help I can get. I am new to this and living full time in my RV so these things are a little frustrating when you do not know anything about finding or trying to fix something myself. I love this Montana Owners Club it is awesome.

I had the same problem when I bought my Montana. There's a 20 or 30 amp fuse, not sure which, that blew. I was told the landing gear was extended to far. After adjusting, no problems since.

My 2006 had issues as well. Caused by me! I didn't have it properly blocked on a sloping driveway and it put pressure on the legs and slightly bent one. So it went up and down with difficulty and eventually wore out the slip clutch on the motor. Anyway, I finally had to replace the motor and the replacement one they ordered went way faster than the old one. However, a big problem as they added an inline fuse which was too small. It would blow at least twice when raising the Monty. Finally got them to check and re-order the correct motor. Had to pay for overnite shipping on one motor but they ate the other cost.
Soooo, make sure you don't have a bent leg or such. also, the gears in the top of the legs need occasional grease/oiling. This was mentioned in many posts 3-4 years ago. Not sure why no mention lately, unless Keystone fixed something???? Good luck
