Hell that's good to know I figured the 4 gauge welding lead would be enough. Now that I actually looked your right. For catastrophic fuse I've got a 300 Amp Blue sea at batteries. I know it's a little underrated for the draw on the Inverter should it go full tilt. Should I put one to the Inverter itself?

Your 300A Blue Sea should be fine. Its purpose is to protect the wiring from the maximum potential battery amperage. Routinely the inverter is isolated by a breaker to allow for maintenance.

Dsull, the fed tax credit is 30% for the solar. 2019 is the last year for that rate. in 2020 it drops to 26% then 22% in 2021 then goes away completely starting in 2022. Of course they could extend it... again....it was originally supposed to phase out in 2016. I would not count on it being extended again.
