Bathroom window install slide show
I have remixed the install for the new members to see.
I ordered a Big Sky window and installed it in the bathroom, that is a super improvement, the brightness and some flow-through ventilation is very nice. I think the window was under $200.00
This should link to it.

Hi Oz,
Your photos of the new bathroom window, looks great. We have been talking about putting a window in the bathroom for a year. We also have a 3400RL - 2005 Montana. I would appreciate any measurements, such as, top of cut out to ceiling, center of cutout from inside walls. Someone like you, makes it easy for others to follow since the biggest concern is to avoid hitting any framing when cutting.
What was the product ID number of the Big Sky Window, so that my local deler won't be lost trying to order from Montana. Unless you went a different route when you ordered the window yourself.
Does weather seal for the outside of the window come with it?
Did you find anything particularly difficult about the job?
Again, the steps you posted were great and will be a big help.
Last question, have you pulled up the carpet between the kitchen island and the slide for the kitchen table? We are considering taking up the carpet up to the end of the island. We were hoping that if we did that, there would be lineoleum under the carpet. This area takes such a beating and always needs to be cleaned.
Thanks
Dan

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the nice words, sorry, I do not have the number, but I will measure it and get it to you.
Call Dawn at 574-848-9100, you can save probably 50%, all you need except sealant comes with the window. don't worry about framing there, isn't any. I'll get you some top and side measurements.
On the carpet, many have installed wood flooring, I don't think there is vinyl under there. I would suggest a carpet runner, we love ours.

Aha! the mirror!
Some serious staring and probing at the mirror first. Then I got a pc. of stainless steel, a foot long, flat stock, I bent it for a handle, (L-shaped) then just poked it all around to loosen and break the seal. They ran a bead of adhesive all around the outside. I just worked at it until it came loose.

Ozz, that looks so neat! Again, this is one of those mods that Keystone should be looking at, even if it was offered as an option! great job, Jim.

Thanks Ozz
I hear you're pretty handy at this stuff. I could swing by and you could show me how to do it. Just happen to be in the neighborhood and in between all your other prodjects-------LOL. Just kidding of course. But we are in the area and wondering if your park is full or if you know of any others that have vacancy. Would like to see SPI.

Hi tbhd2,
This time of the year it is pretty full, but they have a waiting list, and the overflow area is right on the beach....not bad for an overflow spot. People come and go all the time, and there are many RV parks around the island.
Hey, if all else fails, there is Wally World as a backup plan for a day or two.
Come on down.

I posted the link just now. Ozz
