Stain Matching

Has anyone come up with a good, off-the-shelf stain to match the Montana woodwork? I'm adding shelves to some of the cabinets (actually MOST of the cabinets - bedroom, ET center, kitchen overhead). Also did away with the slide out waste bin (wasted space) to add 2 full extension drawers there, and 2 more in the upper pantry area. Decided to build a new lower door for that area (have a cabinet shop) & need to match the stain. Emailed Keystone, but got no response.

Closest thing I could find is Olympic gel stain in 'Aged Maple'. Any help is appreciated...

No stain used..... oak from Home Depot coated with gloss varathane... I will try to attach a photo....

The drawer under the fridge and under the stove are mine. They match within the range of color in the kitchen quite well

Jim,

A good, experienced paint salesman can do a superb match job for you. If I were doing this, I would take a sample of the new wood and a sample of the finish you are trying to match to the store. My son formally managed the paint section at local Lowe's, but learned his skill at Kelly-Moore Paints. I have to trust others to do this because I am mildly color blind.

I haven't done it yet but Mtmytmax told me Golden Oak works well, same as Kdeiss mentioned. I saw the job mtmytmax did and it looked good so I wrote it down.
