Congratulations Don!
I know you'll enjoy your retirement. How long before you go fulltime?

Very, very, soon you will be wondering how you ever had time to work with so many things to do. I have done a good bit of counseling with folks nearing retirement. All I can say is that the most successful retirees where the ones who had a plan, who continued to dream, and who figured out how to interact through some kind of service. Here's wishing you folks the best retirement possible. Congratulations!!

Retirement is the best job you will ever have. You are now free to do whatever you want to do at your convenience, whenever you want to do it. What worked for me was I vowed that whatever I chose to do, if anything, it would have nothing to do with what I did for the previous 40 years and 6 months.I might want to Pump gas at a gas station, hand out carts at Wallmart, be a school crossing guard, I drive a school bus...love it.... Happy retirement....

I, too, am waiting for my wife to retire so we can get our Montana and move to Retireville! Only 5 years, 28 days to go (sigh).
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. Keep us posted about how you're enjoying it, OK?
