Same with me I have been traviling with the frig on propane for years also, they say its a good idea when filling up at a gas station to turn it off, but I dont do that either, I guess I should start sooner or later.

chalk us up with those who never turn the frig off ... never considered running with the heat on as was mentioned in an earlier post in this thread but when towing in subfreezing temperatures I can see some wisdom in doing so

When we travel, we turn the frig on the day before and let it start cooling. We leave it on while traveling so the beer stays good and cold!
