montana delivery

Does anyone know if they are running behind on delivery of new units from the assembly plant?according to my dealer my new Montana came off line last Tuesday,19th and he though it would be in Amarillo,Tx.by Monday,25th but still haven't heard from it.
Just wondering and wife is getting harder to live with.

Be patient but I know that hard to do when waiting on a new Monty.....it took a week for mine to show up in Houston, personally I thought it to be too long but apparently the drivers have to abide by rules of the trucking industry, can drive only so many miles or hours in a day. If it left the plant on a Thursday or Friday, the driver probably did not leave the area until a Monday. BTW congratulations on the new unit, hope that you enjoy yours as much as we have.

Here is link to a PDI list that will assist you in knowing what problems to look for on walk-thru.

Adhere to the list closely and you probably will find a few items that the dealer will need to correct before you take delivery. Again, be patient and make it right before signing the papers.

texdeano..When we were at the factory a couple of weeks ago the Elkhart area was crazy with haulers of all types dragging FEMA trailers our of there. They were very short of haulers with drivers wanted signs everywhere. FEMA was also paying a little better money per mile (so we were told) Could have something to do with the slow delivery of your unit..
