We Did It!!!

Many of you folks will remember that over the past month we have posted many questions on options to get when ordering a new Montana. Glenda and I would like to thank all of you who took the time to offer your most valued opinions.

So we did it. Today we went to our dealer and placed an order for a Montana 3475. It was a tough decision between the new 3500 and the 3475 but finally we opted for the open concept and more closet space of the 3475. As major options we ordered the fireplace, slide awnings, aluminum wheels, central vac and a bunch of the more traditional options. We ordered the Mocha Frost interior. This interior combo is on a 3475 sitting on my dealers lot but Keystone does not list it as an option so we will have to see how they respond.

We're not sure yet when to expect it to arrive but with snow on the ground we're in no big hurry....as long as it is here by the 1st of April.

Now the wait begins......

Congratulations, Brad and Glenda! Sounds like a beautiful FW. We haven't yet seen a 3475 but hope to soon. We saw a 3500 the other day and it was gorgeous! Can't wait to see the 3475. Hope you have many years of enjoyment with it.

Congratulations!
Ours took six weeks from the RV show in October to delivery in early December, and I was anxious the whole time! I know you'll enjoy it as we are. Once it gets there, you come down with a new "disease", HITCH-ITCH!

Congratulations Chester and Glenda. I remember how hard it was waiting for ours to arrive at the dealers. I hope you're able to get the color option you want. Its the one we have in our Big Sky and we love it.

Is the 3475 a new model for 2005?

Enjoy your new Montana and MOC.

Patty

Thanks to everyone for your good wishes. Yes Patty, the 3475 is a new model for 2005. There is also a new 3500 this year. It too is a great looking unit.

Our dealer called today and has spoken to Keystone about our order. As Patty said the colour option we ordered (and saw in the 3475 on the lot) was a Big Sky colour scheme and Keystone put it in a few early Montanas to get rid of their stock. We now have to go with the standard colour schemes...Desert Sunset was our backup choice. Keystone also said we could expect our unit before the end of Feb. That's only 6 weeks. I expected more like 10-12 weeks at this time of the year.

Chester,

Sorry to read you were not able to get the color combination you wanted. It's funny as we tried to get them to put Desert Sunset in our Big Sky. One good thing is the fabric will be more user friendly and forgiving. The dark solid brown material spots badly with just water. I am so thankful we got the leather chair option because of this.

I have seen pictures on the web with the new Suede color scheme. That seems pretty nice too and gives the lighter airy feeling like the Mocha Frost.

That six weeks will seem to drag, but when you get it you'll feel like it's Christmas and your Birthday all rolled into one. Then you can start experiencing the "Gotta go Camping/Rv-ing" bug. Although owning a Montana already you must know all about that.

If you can post pictures when you get yours.

We saw the new suede color scheme in a 3500 at our dealer's this past week. It was gorgeous! We really liked it. The 3500, too! Now, to see a 3475.
