Wordsmith,
Do you want to trade years, I'll take your 11 for my 29! =)

We have been members since 1-9-2005 and as of 2-25-2006 we can say we are official members of the Montana owners Club since we now actually own a Montana . The forum helped us along with that decision and honestly we are happy campers.

Montana Sky, no, I am afraid that trade won't work for me. In fact, the thought of it is rather frightening!

Besides, eleven years sometimes seems like too long with the unrealistic standards being imposed on schools and the growing apathy in a large portion of the student population.

Rich, congratulations on finally ordering your 3400RL. It seems like you have been looking for a long time, so I know this must be a VERY exciting time for both of you!

Wordsmith,
I was just having this very discussion today with a very good friend of mine. We were talking about retirement plans and what the goals are once we get to that age. He has 2 more years to the day for his retirement and I had said I only have 29 more years to go. I wish I would have had the camera to post a picture of his face, you could just see the wheels turning trying to wrap his head around the thought of 29 years. I tell you what, that number scares me these days with the corporate culture the way it is, jobs going abroad, and the health care cost going through the roof. Hopefully the stock market will come around to help offset some of these costs as I blaze through the upcoming years. =)

Montana Sky,

I hear you! My worries about 11 years from now are bad enough; who knows what 29 might bring? I suppose all we can do is put money in sensible places while expecting the worse. Perhaps that way we will be able to enjoy our retirement years like so many others here on MOC.
