New 2006 Decals and Hi-gloss

Here is a link to a new 2006 Montana. Thought you might like to see the new decals and exterior colors.

Thanks, Dave. The nose graphics are different but I had the impression they were more different than that, like with an oval. I guess I need to get to a dealer and take a firsthand look. Sans wallet!

That answers one part of the mysterious rig that we saw when we were driving in the southwest. We saw a rig with minimal graphics, only the word 'Montana' across the cap. Maybe they were for FEMA. Or a special order. But they did not have the new 2006 graphics on them...no mountains at all.

I took delivery Nov 29 and got the new graphics pictured above by Montana Sky. Not only are they simplier in design, but the overall have a maroon to brownish color rather than the previous blue color. My salesman was concerned I would be dissatisfied by the color change. Just wasn't important to my wife and I. We like the new graphics fine.

We also noticed the mountaineers now say montana across the cap, then in a circle it says mountaineer edition,it is a brownish red color.

This was taken during the plant tour in sept. Along with the graphics was a sample door of the cabinets they were thinking about installing. I don't know if they were going to be an option or replace the oak that is standard now.

I am not really sure what I think of the new graphics yet. I still wish Montana would have the two tone paint option like they were doing on the Big Sky. Thought that gave it a real classy look. If I really had my way I wish they would just go to full body paint and get rid of the decals all together.
Gonfishin~ I like the cabinet door you posted in the picture. Some darker tones would be a nice touch in the Montana. Overall, I will still take a Montana over most other fifth wheel brands on the road today.

Every time I see brown (or orange) on an RV I think of the 70's units - maybe into 80's. We look at a lot of used units when we first started this 15 years ago. They were always brown and maybe orange. I like the blue on ours. JMHO.
Happy trails.....................

Definitely put me down for preferring the previous graphics, though I am partial to the 2003 models. One of the points I have liked about the Montana graphics is that the sets up mountains taper along the length of the unit, thus forming a sort of mountain range. These flourishes on the 2006 design just do not have as much appeal, at least to me. It was the graphics of the 2003-2004 models that first attracted me to Montanas.

Bottom line I don't really care what graphics are used.Truth be known If they could be ordered without the graphics I would do so. The graphics make me feel like I am driving a giant billboard down the road...To each their own I guess....

Saw the new graphics and colors at our dealers. Tried to make a deal for a straight across trade--nothing doing. I saw the 3400 and the new 3000. The colors were great and I liked the grapnics.
