Strange Things

I'm really suprised that our old Mission tires have lasted longer than our front Montana Decal. Who would have thunk?

Are you trying to start a fight here!?

Fortunately, I missed out on the Mission tire debacle and got Goodyear Marathons with my rig. So far, no tire problems, but the front graphics are starting to go already.

Too old to fight! I guess when you think in terms of Quality you wouln't think the decal would go first

I heard a rumor that the decals are made from recycled Mission tires...

Tom, "NOW THAT IS FUNNY!!!!!" I was wondering what all those tires were doing in the back of the Burlington truck at the "08 fall rally".

Just Kidding, of course!!!

For all the problems that people had with Mission tires I guess I was the lucky one. We put over 25 thousand miles on ours and never had a problem. I did replace them this year because of tire wear from a bent axle.

I got my graphics from Kristin and the Burlington folks a few days ago. Now it just needs to be a regular San Antonio winter--get warmer so I can put them on! My Missions lasted about 3 years with a long trip to Alaska in 2007. I replaced them due to wear not any other problems. Got lucky!

We put about 8,000 on ours and then replaced them this fall with Marathons when wear was showing and we had our frame realigned. Decals still looking fine on our '06.

Montana must have changed vendors somewhere along the way- Our 2000 still has the original decal but is fading- However, the clearcoat on the front is peeling- The top half is gone and the remainder is peeling a bit at a time- All things considered, we are 100% satisfied with our home! Don

Our decals on our 2000 have held up well. I still believe that somewhere between 1998 and now, they changed vendors for the decals or the vendors changed the adhesive used on the decals.

Hi all,
Ok I'm new to all of this. My front decal is also pealing on my 2008 but the adhesive is holding strong. Is it easy to replace? And, who is Kristin and the Burlington folks?
