Memory Foam Toppers - Utter Confusion
Fellow MOCers:
I have spent the last three hours researching the myriad of choices of memory foam toppers. This was after going to Tuesday Morning as was mentioned on another thread to hopefully get one for $69.00 as advertised. They were sold out and after doing all of this research I am thankful. Research has shown many brands as well as many densities available. Densities range from 3 lbs/ft to 6 lbs/ft and are prices accordingly. This has led me to believe that the Tuesday Morning one was probably a 3# model which may be fine for some. I think myself and DW have decided that we are going to settle for the good old Wallyworld offering. They have a 4" pad that is 1.5" of memory foam and 2.5" of high-density pu (I take this to be polyurethane). The reviews were mixed on the Wal-mart site but seemed to be favorable. They had a rollback (YAYYYY) on the price to $144. We will be purchasing it before Thanksgiving and will have an eight night trial then. I will definitely post my opinion of the purchase when we return. Between my herniated disc and DW's chronic back pain from an auto accident, I think we are well-qualified to judge the merits of the hopeful comfort the pad will provide.
Bingo
On edit: Can't believe I typed all that and did not mention that the price listed is for King size which we have.
