Eugene, OR

I need to go to Eugene, OR for a four day meeting. Any campground recommendations? The meeting will be at Valley River Inn,
1000 Valley River Way.

Armitage County Park Campground.

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed at.

This is from RV Park Reviews:
"The sites are paved as are access roads. Area is grass and very kid and pet friendly. Site spacing is probably 40 to 50 feet from your nearest neighbor. Although I-5 is not far it only provides some white noise if even that. Access is great. We would give this park a 10 for those self contained and if they didn't want an on-site laundry."

X2 on Armitage.

Be advised. You need to make reservations on-line and they have to be done two or three days ahead of time. That will also give you the availability.

Armitage has full hook up with cable TV. When we were there about 1 year ago it was $25 a night. Sites are wide and flat. There are only a few pull-through sites (I think 4) but you could actually put to full Monty's in each site. The rest are all back-in but are very wide. There is a very large doggy park on the premises and the McKenzie river runs adjacent to the park, but it is a 1/4 mile walk from the front of the RV section to the river.

While there, go up the road a ways to the Marathon plant and look at the million $$ MH's. Just look, okay.
