Fred & I (Pam) will be at Sunshine RV Park (previously Encore RV Park) in Harlingen from Nov. 7th until April 1st.
We are on our way down now...great weather!

Welcome to the forum, Fred and Pam. I hope you'll join up with the gang that is going to be in the Valley for the winter. We have a few planned activities that will give us all a chance to meet one another. Keep in touch with the forum under Regional Camping Clubs/ RGV

Thanks for the posts. We are going to be staying in the RGV next winter (2006-2007) for the first time. This gives us an idea where people stay. We have friends that stay near Mercedes in an Encore Park, so we may stay there.
Until I looked at the map I didn't realize how far down the boot of Texas the RGV was.

Bill, Ann and Mark, Glad to see that you have made it to the valley. We are still in Cleveland, Ohio since John had eye surgery on Oct. 21st. But hope to get away from here sometime the first of Dec. Can't wait to get to the RGV. Stay safe and looking forward to seeing everyone again. Marge

Steve and Vicki, we're plugged in for dinner at, of all places, the Montana Restaurant in Granbury, Texas with Harmon and Ruth on January 3rd. At least that's what we talked about. We might have to "practice" eating there before you guys arrive. It's yummy!

I think I posted over on the "On the Road" thread, not this thread, anyway, Karen and I are here in the RGV, now at Bentsen Palm Village, space 419. We're here for Dec., Jan., Feb.
We got here a little earlier (arrived 11/28) than expected because of the colder weather north of here, had spent some time in Corpus Christi, and South Padre Island prior to this ( very windy).
Met Skip and Mary, lots of other folks and just settling in for the winter.
Went to Don Wes yesterday, came back needing to take some measurements for sun screens.
