Look at your door jamb or glove box (not sure where Ford posts it). The recommended tire pressure there is for a loaded situation and is actually too high for a good ride when unloaded.

I was told to run max pressure in rear and a little less in front when towing heavy loads.

For a DRW, I was told by the dealer to run less in the back when towing. That has worked well for me. Something about wear in the center of the rear tires on a dually. Guess with all the advice, not sure where the best answer is. With my SRW trucks, I ran 80 all around.

I have been running 60. Maybe I need to increase them a bit.

I just run what's on the door ....front 70 psi and rear 65 psi seems good ...don't believe you need the full 80 psi in duals the pin don't weigh that much.

This is strange. Mine calls for 65 in the front and 80 in the rear. Why are we backwards of everybody else?

That is the standard pressure for a SRW truck. The duallies use lower pressure in the rear tires due to having four of them.

I run 70psi in the front and 65psi in the rear on my dually. Seems to work and the tires are wearing well in the rear.
