Quartzsite

Can anybody recommend a good full-hookup park in Quartzsite. Plan to make first trip there in late January ( also would like recommendations on best time to go) . I do not want to dry camp on BLM land if at all possible to avoid.

We have stayed at Desert Gold RV Park in Brenda, AZ. It`s about 11 miles from the show in Quartzsite. They have a club house, pool and mini golf. But by staying in a RV Park you will be missing all the fun of a great rally with some really nice Moc members.

The best time is the last two weeks of Jan.

I guess we are "open" to the BLM dry camping concept - having never been there though we thought the first time it might be best to be in a regular park with full hook-ups. Not sure about driving in there "blind" and hoping to hook up with a good place to dry camp. Since we travel alone (just the two of us and our two dogs) we're usually not involved in group camping - so just a little leary of taking a chance. However - if you have suggestions of where to go we're open to the challenge.

There is NOTHING like a Q Montana circle experience. NOTHING!

You don't have to commit to the entire 14 days, go for a couple, bet cha stay for more!

There will be a bunch of other Montana owners in that circle, all more than happy to help you learn.

We did it, and LOVED IT! So sad we cannot go this year. It is a 'do not miss this experience', one of those experiences you just don't want to miss in this all too short life.

Go to my web page, go ALL the way to the bottom, check out that circle, how can you resist???

Montana Circle here.

Besides, if after a couple of days, you truly find that boondocking just is not your cup of tea, or mode of RVing, you hook up, and roll em out. That house has wheels!

Q is a experience one should experience at least once. It is tough boon docking,The generators are running, satellite dishes are up.A/C'can run. The honey wagon will be around and water can be delivered... Tough..very tough

We went to Q in 2010. What an experience and we can't wait to go again in 2013. We bought a 2000 Honda gen set and it provided enough power. If you need help there are a lot of people to give you a hand.
