replacing the TV

In my 06 3400 RL the TV is no longer working and I need to replace it. It has a fire place under it and I will need to remove it to unscrew the TV. Has any one tried this on there own or should I pay to have it done?????

Any chance it might still be under warranty?

It is a do it yourself project as far as removing it. Installing may be another story, however, several of our members have installed LCD TV's in the 3400.
Vicki may have a point. The TV may have a longer warranty than the Montana.

I have a 3650RK with the fireplace under the tv. I changed it to a 32 inch LCD Sharp Aquos.
Outstanding picture, no glare with LCD from any of the windows. OZZIE changed his out also. MUDCHIEF has a 3400 and is on the verge of changing his out to a 32 inch LCD. I really think you could do it yourself. They sell a great LCD support mount and their isn't that much to changing it out. You will not be sorry. safe travels John
