Crossing into Canada at Niagara Falls
We are doing a trip in July to Niagara Falls, crossing over to Canada there for the trip back home via Canada (including a trip to Toronto) and coming back into the states at Port Huron MI. Has anyone done either of these crossing points? Looking of tips, things to watch for, issues with either of those two points, etc. I know no firearms, fresh fruit/vegetables, minimal alcohol, and similar.

Watch for low bridges in and arround thouse areas. Be sure to watch for the truck routes and take them. Don't ask me how I know about this.

We have entered and exited at both crossing. Nothing to add other than what you already stated. Pretty easy and straight forward. Beautiful ag country between the Falls and Toronto.

Agree, easy and straightforward as long as long as everything you carry is allowable. Have used both entry points. Double check your medical re out of country coverage. Auto Insurance was not an issue.

We have used both of them with no problems.Be aware of the laws of both country and check on line for updates before you leave. Check as Mike above suggest although it should not be a problem.

You didn't mention any, but ensure any pets have upto date shot records. Coming back into the States is more thorough an inspection than entering Canada. I cross at Pt Huron at least once a year in each direction... Never had an issue.

Thanks all. No pets to worry about. I’ll double check insurance.

Sounds like some good hard earned advice.
