Snow on the Truck!
Awoke this a.m. to snow and 32F in West Yelowstone! 70s and 80s yesterday and lots of wildlife (bears, elk, goats, and moose). Headed south to Jackson Hole. Life is good.

I still remember that from a trip we took when I was a kid. Hot during the day and snow the next morning. Still remember going to the beach at Yellowstone lake. Couldn't believe the number of people sunbathing and no one was swimming. Ran down the beach full speed. Dove in and provided entertainment for the whole park.

Chris
Maybe you two should come to the Nebraska Rally, I bet there won't be any "white stuff" there.

We spent a week in Yellowstone the third week of June and had a high of 43 for the week. Thank goodness we were fulltiming and had some cold weather clothes with us. Many people there didn't. Things should warm up a little for you Chris once you get to a lower elevation

Many years ago we camped with our young children in West Yellowstone at the KOA in our unheated pop-up. We froze our tails off during the night. When I got the USA Today to read in the morning it stated that the coldest town in the USA that night was West Yellowstone.........and this was in July!!!!!

capn cris- where are you in West Yellowstone. We are at Red Rock Rv Park outside of West Yellowstone. We had about an inch of snow this morning also. However we also were in Jackson and then up through the South Yellowstone entrance and it was a beautiful day.

Wow, what a nice surprise! We will be there the 24th. Can't wait! We've been there several times and it has been below freezing but no snow. Enjoy!

Chris -
You can always stop and see us in Texas to warm up. Email me and let me know your travel plans. We'll be in northern Colorado in early July.
