The Time is Growing Near!!
We will be moving into our new Village Home this week and emptying out most of the things from the Monty. This will be bittersweet as this has been our home for the last 4 years. We will be leaving a lot of the essentials in it and taking what we need, then rebuying for the new home. Will eventually have to store the Monty. I am not looking forward to that as we have not had to do that since owning it. Our other option might be to sell the truck and trailer so it doesn't go into moth balls. Perhaps if a good offer came along we might do that, but until then, into storage it goes.

How exciting!! Hope we get to see the new place when we wander through there next winter. Did you decide not to take the rig up to Prescott for summers?

Phil & Cathy,
It's great when a plan comes together! It's wonderful that you've had the opportunity to full time and now move on to a different phase in your lives in such a beautiful location. We wish you every happiness there!

Phil.....you've given me some great help in my short time on the MOC, not only in response to my questions, but the advice to others as well, that I've tried to pick up.....thank you very much! I hope you continue to stay connected if you decide to get off the road completely. D

Have you thought about starting a "stick house owners club" or maybe a "full timers anonymous" forum. All said with tongue-in-cheek. Seriously, we hope all your expectations are exceeded. I know you are leaning forward toward the future.

Phil..Our Plan was much the same as yours. We saw 5 to 7 years on the road. This is our 5th year.Of course we never let our stick home go so we have a place for us and the Montana. We will continue on the road as long as we are able. Good luck on your new great adventure.

I think you need to install a 3" sewage line coming out of the new home and down into the ground, complete with valve, down spout, all the fittings and supports! It won't be connected to anything but it would sure make you feel at home.
All kinds of SOBers still make posts and I see that your home is just an SOB. I expect you'll stay in touch.
Phil & Cathy, congratulations on the new home. Good things come to those who wait. Here's wishing you that there will be more things to wait for. The best to you both!

Bob and Pam, we are still undecided what we will do once in the house. If a good offer comes along on the combination we just might let it go.
We appreciate all the nice words from everyone and I will probably always be an SOB contributor, at least until my mouth gets me in trouble.......
If anyone is looking for a great truck and 3400 send them my way. Looking at $69,900 for both. Many extras as can be seen in my signature.......Would also throw in a VIP PLatinum membership to 1000 Trails, however, you must pay the xter fee ($700 I believe). This membership allows three weeks in each park and no time out from park to park. Spend the rest of your life in California, Oregon, Washington and Arizona without a nightly fee. This is invaluable.

Phil and Cathy,
We enjoyed the times we met you in person and hope that you adjust to this new experience with all of the can do attitude I have seen in everything you undertake.

Phil and Cathy,
We will miss you out on the road but hope you'll continue to check in here on the MOC. Best of luck to you as you transition to your new situation. You will certainly want to consider being some place besides Casa Grande during the summer. I liked your original idea of having your rig set up in Prescott. It is so nice up there during the summer. Great place. Good luck. Dennis and Mary Kay

Best of luck with the new home. We won't be far, over in little old Texas. Just accepted a transfer there. Hopefully we will be starting our new Colorado home within the next four weeks or so. Maybe we'll get to see you. Thanks for your contributions. You'll always be part of the MOC family.
