Hi everyone. We're Dave and Vicki. We just sold our 33' Fleetwood trailer and purchased a new Montana High Country, which will be manufactured over the next month or so. We are so, very excited. We've camped most of our lives and have progressed from tenting to what we hope will be our best venture yet, with our new Montana. We're also very excited that there is an Owners group. I look forward to learning from you all as well, as meeting you some day. Please expect to see more of me. I've lot's of questions, needing to learn about using a 5th wheel vs. a trailer.

THANK You all very much for the kind welcome. We are very, very excited. Found out yesterday, that our unit may go "off-line", which, I think, means may go into production the first week of November. I've contacted Keystone and am checking on the possibility of going to the plant for a tour, to hopefully, see ours in production. So very cool.
I'm beginning to check out hitches and am getting a bit confused as to the best route to go. Noticed the blogs here on MOC forum and may be asking for some additional insight.

Thanks again to all.
Hope to meet you in the near future.

Anyone from the Michigan (Ann Arbor) area?

Welcome and as everyone else says, enjoy the information on the forum and try to make the National Rally in Goshen next September. You will learn a lot about your new Monte and meet great people.

Well. Here it is November 16th. About 3-4 weeks, since ordering our unit. Our new Montana High Country 343RL was delivered to our dealer, Lloyd Bridges in Chelsea Michigan, late last Thuursday. We went out on Friday to see it. Wow, are we excited. Will try to get them to prep the unit for a Wednesday or Thursday delivery. Plan to bring it home, load it up a bit, and try to go out this next weekend for our 1st shakedown camping weekend. We're excited, and can't wait. Still debating on a few items, like an Surge Protector/EMS unit, whether to go hardwired or portable. Think, I may wait until I get the unit and see, how the power comes in to the unit......and then, there's the organizing of everything.....No wonder my wife and I can't sleep at night.

Welcome aboard. Plymouth, MI is not that far from Goshen, IN where the annual MOC Rally is held each September. The education that you can receive from the rally is absolutely amazing.

We will no-doubt be going to this next year (2015). Sounds like a great deal of fun, fellowship but also information. Glad to be part of the MOC group. Thanks.
