AC Question

I have read all the comments/questions regarding the AC in the newer models. I would like to take down the vents and cut out some of the fins, as suggested, to allow for more air flow. My problem is that I'm not sure how to get the vents off the ceiling! Probably very simple but do not want to break them! Thank you!

On my '16 3790RD, I used a small, flat head screwdriver to put into the little slot on the side and slightly pry out. They will then come off.

The vent covers snap off. Use a cellphone camera to visually inspect ductwork. Cutoff collars if they are sticking into the duct. You can also add vents. I went from 7 vents to 10 vents with my front and rear ducted system. No more unit freezing up or restricted supply airflow.
