I'm glad I found you!

Hi, all! I'm Brad, and I'm getting ready to order a 3295RK, after I sell my house. I'm 42, divorced, and have two children; Joe, 11 and Jessica, 9. I bought a 3000 sq ft home 4 1/2 years ago, when I had custody of my children half time, but their mother moved too far away for me to keep them, so now I just have them every other weekend. I can't justify the expense and trouble of my big ol' house, so I'm trading up!

We live in Houston, Texas, and love to visit the Texas hill country. There's so much to see and do, and we've only scratched the surface! I figure what better way to see and enjoy all that America has to offer, than in a trailer!

I'm really glad I stumbled onto this website. Reading about peoples experiences, praises, opinions, and even complaints has made me feel so much better about my decision! I can hardly wait until the day I get to get serious about contacting a dealer and placing my order! When the time comes, I'll try to see what's available as far as pre-owned, but I'm pretty particular about some of the things I know I want, so I'm not opposed to buying new! For instance, I like a lot of the upgrades available in the value option package, but I don't want the freestanding dining table and chairs. I'd rather have the dinette so I can make it into a bed for one of my kids!

That being the case, how much lead time should I give the dealer? Do they have to build to order from the factory?

Also, can someone clue me in on the difference between the Montana and the Big Sky? It appears that the Big Sky is just a fancier Montana, with upgraded appointments?
