We were so shocked to hear from Carol and All Stevens today about your serious mishap, Bud. Both of us send wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery. Wow, how quickly our plans can change. We would love to have been able to help you in some way.... is it still OK to get together on our way through Denver? It will probably be Friday when we leave Moab and head in your direction. We will find a place near Denver to stay over until Saturday. Let us know what we can arrange.

We are looking forward to it!! Bud is actually quite mobile and taking less & less of the pain medication. The Jefferson County Fairgrounds 15200 W 6th Ave Frontage Rd, Golden, CO 80401 (303) 271-6600 (Golden - just off w. 6th ave is fairly reasonable) or Dakota Ridge (also Golden) is very nice, but pricier. Not a bad drive from Moab.
