Sad Day, Bye to the Monty

We purchased the Monty a few years back when there was only the two of us, and it really worked well for us. Since that time, our family has grown with an addition of a son. We all know the Monty's are primarily designed for two people. With a little one, toys are a must and the 2955RL was just not working for us. After a long and extensive search we have settled on another Keystone product with 3 slides, one being a bunk room for the little man. Maybe dad won't be stepping on toys, but I doubt it.
It will be a little sad, but we both agreed that we needed to make this move. We wanted to thank everyone for all the technical help, advice & support over the last couple of years. I don't think there is any website for another RV brand that has the knowledge and experience of the MOC. We will continue to visit the site as much as possible. No matter how long you have been camping, there is always something new to experience.

Happy Camping!
Thank you
Walter & Suzanne

Walt and Suzanne-- Best of luck with the new fifth. At least you stayed with Keystone and I think you'll be happy with it! There always are changes in life and the addition of that son is a great one! Besides having his own room he will have a great set of parents that care and love him and that's the really important thing! Take care and keep in touch here on the forum. There are others here that are no longer Monte owners and they still post here and we all enjoy their posts and it's a learning forum for not just Monte, Big Sky or Mountaineer owners but all owners of fifths and TT's .

Best of luck with the new 5er. You are starting on a different and exciting phase of your life. One day, you will find its back to the two of you - plus grandchildren. That is when you will appreciate the side aisle Monty's. Nice to have a little privacy. Enjoy your new Keystone product.

Different situations will sometimes call for a change. I would do the same thing if needed. Enjoy your new camper and don’t forget to come back here once in a while. Many of the items are probably the same on your newer camper so you might still find help here if needed.
