Washer overflowed

Hi everyone!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

I've been busy and haven't logged in for quite awhile. I should have and asked about this issue and I probably could have avoided this problem.,,.#

We installed a Haier washer and dryer back in April. We moved into our unit full time Nov 20 after selling our house. The set worked great and then the washer quit spinning. It's under warranty so I called it in and a week later a guy came from Atlanta to fix it. It worked for two whole days then quit again... This has been going on off and on since then. It's very frustrating!!!

My husband has talked with the "techs" and tried all their "fixes" sometimes they work for a while and sometimes they don't. Last night it DIDN'T and water soaked along our slide and under our bed and in the closet and nightstand.... I used every towel, washcloth, hand towel, pajamas, etc I had soaking up the water.... I bought a wet vac today to get more up.

Has anyone else had this misfortune? Will the slide and everything be OK?

What a mess!!!

Hoping for some helpful advice. You guys always have some answers.

Thank you!

Dehumidifier Will help a lot, place in the bedroom and close the door and everything should dry out in a couple of days.

Anna & Jim, We also have the 3725RL model and on this model the washer drains into the bathroom grey tank. On ours there is a sticker by the washer drain connection that states differently but don't believe it!! Ours also over flowed because of this wrong info and flooded the same areas. We managed to dry it all out using wife's hair dryer and fans. So far we haven't had any problems or issues because of it.

When it happened I called Keystone and advised them about the sticker being wrong and the problem it caused. Their response was "I should remove the sticker". Really???

We don't have the same washer or dryer brand that you have so I can't help you out with that. Sorry you are having issues with it and hope it works out good for you.

We also use a Splendide and have had a number of years without trouble. It it's not a closed grey tank issue then I would look for a bad connection or a cracked pump housing.

Had mine overflow from not using HE detergent. Lesson learned, it costs more but stays in the washer!

Thanks everyone. I spent 7 hrs on my knees with a wet vac and dryer and a dehumidifier running. Seems much better today.
I appreciate everyone's help!

Did you find out where the water was coming from?

After the second overflow we did..... The tube in the wall where the drain hose goes was loose and leaked around the connection..... Caught it quicker the second time but still a pain! Invested in a small canister wet vac which helped a lot.

Thank you all for your help!
