So much tragedy going on in the world ever since humanity first set foot on this planet. If we had the full history, every single day of the year would be a memorial to someone or some event. Tragedy can occur at any moment to any of us. With that said, be exceedingly thankful when this day, and every day ends peaceful. The only reason we are not victims included in those numbers is simply because we were fortunate to be somewhere else that day! Count your blessing, we all have many!

Too bad the current WH tends to think nothing happened.

Definitely a sad day. Most of those younger than 30 probably have little regard for the significance of 9/11. We all, at any age, need to be reminded each year so that we never forget.

And similarly, for those who say we should not be supporting Ukraine in their war, they need to go back and reread their high school history about WWII and how Hitler marched across Europe and North Africa, country by country, because no one stepped in to stop him and how Japan likewise marched across Southeast Asia and the South Pacific islands. They seem to have forgotten, or never learned, that bit if history.

Moderators: if this is too political please edit as needed.

Let’s remember but be careful and not blame the ordinary citizens of the countries involved.

Yes, it’s the ordinary citizens of both the invading countries and the invaded countries that suffer the most due to the actions of certain glory seeking leaders.
